CloudNative is the common thread running through everything I’m currently focused on.
I work as a Solution Architect at Eng, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes and architectural design.
I’m passionate about energy optimization and performance.
Let’s go back in time:
Raised on bread and Thoreau, I “went to the woods” because I wished to live deliberately, to confront only the essential facts of life. Along the way, I discovered that no matter how many frameworks you master, algorithms and data structures will always come first.
I powered on my first computer at 8 years old, and since then I’ve never disabled the verbose flag on the Linux kernel in favor of some sleek rotating spinner — I need to constantly understand what’s happening under the hood.
Things changed in 1999, when I watched The Matrix for the first time in my room with my brother.
I started coding in Python at 12. TCP/IP and the OSI model followed soon after, earning me the nickname “Router” in high school.
From Systems Specialist to System Administrator, I eventually realized that path wasn’t truly mine: I love coding, and I always have.
Over time I’ve worked with Python, C, Rust, Go, Scala, JavaScript, Lua, and Java.
I strongly dislike technological fanaticism: I choose languages and tools based on the situation, not on ideology.
I’m a committed supporter of open-source and an active participant in several communities, without which I wouldn’t be who I am.
When I’m not designing architectures, you’ll find me writing code, climbing mountains, running, or reading, sometimes all in the same day.
